new layout!

everybody bow down to angie of exangelic.com, who is basically her own namesake. an angel, that is. i love the new layout for tokki berry, which features one of my favorite korean models, park sora. just look how utterly gorgeous angie was able to make my layout look! she's definitely become one of my favorite designers lately.

anyway, i've been meaning to make a new poster tutorial, but considering that there are about 1334985298 other tutorials already on AFF, i'm kind of just lazy now. it seems like everyone and their mom owns a graphics shop or assumes they can make amazing tutorials, so the point is kind of just useless now. but we'll see what springs up in the near future.

Finally! A new layout! This took me awhile to get together simply because of a lack of inspiration. I was just adding random stars around Minho and Krystal and thought, "Hm, what the actual fuck am I gonna do with all these stars?" And that's when I immediately thought about the brilliant book The Fault In Our Stars by John Green which I read a month ago. It's an amazing book and one of the characters, Augustus Waters, is so dreamy and nearly perfect and reminds me of a guy I used to talk to. Haha anyway, as you can see, Minho and Krystal are the Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace in my layout, sort of. Hmm... do I smell an AU, TFIOS-inspired fic in the works? ;) For those who can't see it, or aren't too familiar with the awesome quotes in the book, the words on the clouds beneath Minho and Krystal say, "My thoughts are stars that I can't fathom into constellations."

And I've got new affies: Lovelyy.net (Ranee) and Exangelic.com (Angie) 

These girls are amazing designers and I really (secretly) love them to bits!

Welcome Back?

So, it should be necessary that I explain myself a little bit. 

I know I held the first anniversary giveaway and it was a total success and brought so many new subscribers to the main thread and yay, but I really haven't been online on AFF. If you follow me on Tumblr, then you'll notice that I've shifted fandoms and now heavily follow other fans of Sherlock and Downton Abbey. Technically, I've turned away from the Kpop fandom. There isn't a specific reason why I left the Kpop fandom indefinitely, but I do know that I've sort of gotten bored with it. This is normal for me. I usually get so hyped within a fandom and then lose that hype gradually. 

Another reason, however, if you're looking for one, is that my friends in real life found out about my website. In all honesty, that's kind of embarrassing and I blame myself for putting the link on my twitter where they follow me. So, I sort of laid off awhile. They all know about it right now and it's not like I post anything incriminating or achingly embarrassing, but I prefer that they not really know what I do online. 

Anyway, I'm bringing back Tokki Berry because I'm so effing bored and now that it's my second semester at school, I get out early (yay for being a senior!) and have nothing to do at home.

Sick as a Dog

That may or may not be a figurative form of speech. Anyway, this is just a quick update to show that yes, I am alive but not exactly kicking. I'll be changing the layout soon, too, considering the fact that I might have some college admission officers checking this site out (because I put it in my applications lol) and I want to put out a good impression. Haha. Oh, by the way, for those with personal blog sites, you can all affiliate with my new personal blog, half the sky!
